Replace What Was Stolen

My name is Elizabeth, a little known artist in many places as lovelovegirl, wolframkyo, or sunshiney-arts. January 12th between 4:45pm (when I got out of class and called my roommate to come get me) and 6pm (when we returned from walmart) someone broke into our home and robbed our home. When we returned home our backdoor was wide open. My sheets and two blankets were missing from my bed, my bed was pushed off to the side as though someone checked under my mattress for valuables. They pulled open my bedside drawers and dug through my closet.  



They stole my $800+ laptop with hundreds of dollars worth if software (including commissions, art programs and expensive files that may not have backups), my $200 tablet, and a $175 monitor/tv, and the recievers for both my wireless keyboard and mouse. They also took my playstation vita and 3ds (they left the games, other than what was in the systems.) They then overlooked my roommate's room which was closed and moved on to our livingroom at the other end of the house.


There they proceeded to steal 80+ ps3, xbox360 and ps4 games from the shelf where I had housed them (about $2000+ worth). They also stole my roommate's Asus eebook laptop ($200), our playstation 3, two playstation 3 controllers, playstation 4, 2 playstation 4 controllers, and xbox 360 and 2 controllers. They had attempted to take the large 50 inch tv in the livingroom but due to how we have it mounted and i suppose they must have been spooked, they left it along with my rockband instruments and my dvd/blurays.

We did contact the police and gave them all the serial numbers that we could find or hand on hand and the theives did leave behind a still warm cigarette on the floor but I do not have much faith in the police to reclaim my stolen items (no offense to them). We do plan to contact local pawnshops and also check craigslist but there is no gaurantee that will turn up anything.

As an artist, my computer and drawing tablet is my life and my livelihood. I have $800+ worth in commissions that were half done or nearly done when I lost all of my files and my only ways to work on them. As a student, I absolutely have to have a computer for my assignments in biology, Computer animation, and photography. Speaking of classes, without my tablet I can't afford or earn money to get my textbooks, a camera, or other supplies I might need. Before, I could at least look forward to selling my PS Vita but, now, that has been stolen.

I know the number is high, I set it so high in hopes of earning enough to get another laptop, another tablet, school supplies I need, and perhaps refund my commissioners. Admittedly I'd love to earn enough to replace at least half of what I've lost and I'm only going for the absolute must haves first but...as someone who suffers from depression and anxiety my games have been the only thing to get me through the tougher times I've faced lately. Any and all you donate will go to getting the things my roommate and I need as well as replacing the things that I absolutely MUST have.
