Mike's House Fire Fund

On January 1st, Mike Hill, Florida Account Manager, and his family watched in horror as their house burned down.  Only minutes prior to the fire, they were enjoying a New Year celebration outside.  Shortly after coming back in, Mike’s wife smelled something odd and heard a loud boom.  Upon checking the garage door, she saw the entire room filled with fire.  Within minutes, the entire house was in flames and they were fortunate to escape with no physical injuries.  While blessed that everyone made it out safely, the Hill family lost everything.  Obviously, insurance will help replace their belongings, but it’s a process that takes time.  In the meantime, one of our teammates needs support…and right now the best support we can provide is financial.  Their community of neighbors and church have been helpful in providing some necessities, but an event like this can be financially draining as the insurance details are worked out.  The Hill family has three teenage children, one boy age 13 and two girls ages 15 and 19 and need basically everything including clothes and personal items.   For that reason, we’re hoping that the SSI family will step up in support of Mike and his family.  We’ve set up this special fund so SSI teammates can contribute directly to help out, but time is essential.  Our goal is to raise $2500 by next Friday so we can get the money to them quickly.  We want the Hill family to know that we care for them…we’re sorry for the difficult time they are facing.  But most importantly, we are ready to stand with them as they go through this tough time.  Thanks in advance for your support.
