Myself and 5 other students from Cardiff University have an amazing opportunity to visit Moldova for 9 days in July 2020 to provide free eye care to over 1,500 people!
We are very fortunate here that many of us can take vision for granted, due to easy access to glasses and healthcare. Moldova, being the poorest country in Europe doesn’t have this same liberty. Most people have never had an eye test, let alone are able to afford glasses.
Something as simple as bettering someone’s vision can have a massive impact on their quality of life. This trip will be an amazing yet challenging experience for all of us. We would appreciate any donation, big or small, to make this trip possible. Thank you!
