Prayers for Michelle

I decided to run my first marathon to help bring awareness to brain cancer and generate financial assistance for Pete Maniez's (a friend and co-worker) fiancee - both are pictured.   I've done a few half marathon's and a handful of triathlons.  The main purpose is to help out a friend in need.  

Michelle Boog (Pete's fiancee), a 2009 graduate of St. Johns High School and current Central Michigan University student was diagnosed with a form of inoperable brain cancer in April of 2011. After being in remission for nearly 3 years, the brain cancer returned in June of 2014. Michelle continues to undergo treatment at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. The hospital is ranked as one of the best neurology hospitals in the world. Michelle remains as optimistic and motivated as ever before due to the unyielding support she receives from her friends, family, and others in the surrounding communities. All money raised in this campaign will go to support Michelle and her family for any treatment or health-care related costs.  My goal on this page is fluid.  Obviously, the family needs as much assistance as possible in this trying time.
