<div>I became the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0scRgHi-q1c" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">7th female from Scotland to conquer Mount Everest</a> (8848m/29,050ft).
</div>

<div>This was a lifelong dream yet also highly symbolic.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Having overcome a 15year eating disorder, depression and alcohol issues, summiting Everest completed my journey from rock bottom to the top of the world.
</div>

<div>I also went from beginner to Everest in only one year.
</div>

<div>With an obsession of challenging myself, pushing limits and motivating &amp; inspiring others...

<div>In June 2027, I plan to return to the 'death zone' to take on the 2nd highest, the steepest and hardest mountain in the world to climb - K2 (8611m/28,251ft).
</div>

<div>Becoming the 1st Aberdonian, 2nd Scottish female and one of only a small handful of women to successfully do so!!
</div>

</div>
<div>A major achievement in both Scottish and women’s mountaineering history as well as my personal journey.
</div>

<div>Embracing my fear of heights and breathing disability once again, I'll have to overcome an indescribable amount of mental and physical obstacles in order to achieve my goal.

<div>In the process, I'm raising money for Friends of Anchor as well as awareness of mental health issues, both of which are close to my heart.

<div><strong>EXPEDITION COSTS</strong>

<div>Unfortunately climbing the highest mountains in the world is extremely expensive.
</div>

</div>
<div>And that is where I really need your help!!

<div>From flights, insurance, climbing gear, to ensuring I secure my place with the best company possible who I will literally be trusting with my life - its going to cost £57k.

<div>I have been trying my hardest to gain sponsorship from companies and successfully secured one, however still have a fair way to go, hence why I have now created a GoFundMe page as I need to raise these expedition funds ideally by December 2026 at the latest and simply cannot do it alone.

<div>Once I manage to secure full sponsorship, any extra raised from my GoFundMe page will go directly to Friend's of Anchor.
