At the age of 32, Amanda is enjoying being mom and is full of life. On December 22,2014 after being admitted into the hospital she learned that she has a form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma (GBM) that is stage IV. With the support of her family and friends behind her she took the first step in her battle. The removal of Amanda's tumor successfully took place December 26, 2014 at the College Station Scott & White Hospital. After multiple meetings and many hours of planning, her Oncologists have decided that the second step will be 6 1/2 weeks of radiation and chemo pill starting the end of January 2015.
We are not allowing this cancer or any statistics to darken our expectations of the future. We know Amanda and her will to more than survive this cancer and are finding peace in our understanding that even in these times God is in control. Please join with me in support of Amanda and our family your donations are appreciated but your prayers hold a value that is immeasurable.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31: 25
