Preserve Faerie Hill Farm

HELP !!!! We are in dire need of $30,000 (before March 1st, 2015). This is the payoff/balloon payment amount for our land contract here on Faerie Hill Farm. Even though we have excellent credit and the ability to pay on time our loan requests have been repeatedly turned down by banks and credit unions. Why? Because we have an off-grid solar and wind powered, water and waste recycling, food producing passive solar home, quite different than standard non-sustainable manufactured houses. We call our home the Faerie Hill “ecoark”. It is an experimental test-bed for cutting edge eco-technology, the kind which we will all need in the years ahead. We must raise $30,000 balloon payment before March 1st, 2015. If we don’t, we will have to vacate this land and it will be turned into yet another large lot in a standard subdivision.

If you can donate a few dollars and help spread this plea widely, together, as a larger supportive community, we may be able to save Faerie Hill Farm. Besides the “ecoark” we have a large organic garden area, four acres of protected woodlands, a 40’x20’ creative arts studio, outdoor stage, camping circles for up to 144 people (small gatherings), and 10 acres of land we are reforesting. We apply permaculture principles in our stewardship of this sacred site. We do hands-on research and share the results freely so that others may learn how to live on Mother Earth. If we cannot raise this balloon payment money Before March 1st, 2015 we risk losing everything we built and worked for here for the last 10+ years. Thus, upon the suggestion of countless friends, we are here asking for your participation and support.

For every donation of $25 we will send you a copy of the Faerie Hill Guidebook. For every donation of $50 we will send you the FH Guidebook and a copy of the Heretic’s Blend (double) CD put out by our resident musical wizard: Jade Dragon. For every donation of $75 (or more) you will receive both the Guidebook and the CD plus a membership (see below):
