Ken Brandt's health

Our father, Ken Brandt, recently contracted the flu, which took a turn for the worse when it developed into pneumonia and rapidly escalated into the very critical condition of septic shock. Doctors have been working hard to rescue our father from this life threatening condition that put him into a coma and shut down his kidneys. The hospitals nearby are not well enough equipped to treat his issues, so my family and the dedicated medical professionals made the decision to transfer him to a larger hospital with the ICU he needed. After 10 days of being in a coma supported by a ventilator, 6 days of dialysis, and an array of medications to control the infections and his vitals, he remains in critical condition.

My brothers, sisters, and I would like to ask you to help our family in this time of need. The hospital and travel bills are quickly adding up and we know that once he is out of this critical stage he will need several months of rehabilitation. Our mother Tabitha, and father Ken Brandt have had such a wonderful, positive impact on not only the 6 of us, but on so many others, including the 56 other foster children that they brought into their home in their time of need.
