Tanya/Crossing Cambodia

Dear family and friends, I am so excited to share with you that I am going on my first mission trip. I have always felt God tugging at me to go somewhere, but until now I haven't heard him say where. My sister and I will be going to Battambong, Cambodia where my nephew Joe know works with the organization called Crossing Cambodia. Crossing Cambodia is unique in that it is designed for street kids his parents are not able to properly care for them or help them stay in school. Each morning a truck goes to get them brings them to the center to be fed, bathed, dressed, and take it to school. In the early afternoon they return to the Center for lunch, tutoring, any time to learn about Jesus is love for them. They are the return for two more hours of school and then they all get back in the truck to head for home, the street, until the next morning.
I will be leaving on Monday, April 27 and will return on May 7. While there we will be teaching the children Bible studies about the love of Jesus. I will use my stylist talent to cut hair and give the staff a well deserved spa day! My goal for this mission trip is to raise $2000. This will pay for part of my travel, Several large bags of rice, and a few new School uniforms. I would ask for your prayers for me as I prepare for this trip, for Chris and Brandon, and for the street children I will be working with.
