Love for Kimera and Family

Donation protected
Kimmy was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2013.  She went through chemotherapy treatments and was in remission as of July 2014.  In October 2014, she went for a follow up with her oncologist and was told her bloodwork didn’t look good.  They sent her for more tests and it was confirmed that cancer had returned.  Kimmy had more tests and appointments and was ultimately put into the hospital in November due to her symtoms.  Once at Oregon Health and Sciences Hospital (OHSU), Kimmy started another type of chemotherapy.  After the first round, the cancer in the walls of her intestines shrunk and created bowel perforations that required immediate surgery.  Four surgeries later and 2 weeksn in ICU, Kim was moved back to the Knight Cancer Center.  She needed to recover enough to continue the chemotherapy treatments, however, additional complications have led to her being unable to continue treatments for the cancer.  Kimmy was moved to hopsice to spend the remaining time she has left visiting with family and friends in the most comfortable setting.

Kimmy is the most positive, upbeat, and caring person.  She loves with all of her heart, fully and without reservation.  Kimmy is particularly fond of babies and little ones, her kitties, and most of all, her 14 year old daughter, Annika Joy.  She is a woman of God, full of faith that He knows what is best and is in complete control.

We are asking for donations to help our family during this difficult time.  Kimmy is being moved to Hopice today to spend the remaining time she has left visiting with family and friends.  When Kim goes to be with the Lord, her family needs help covering the expenses of a memorial and burial.  There will also be the medical expenses from this long illness, in addition to the expenses related to moving her husband and fourteen year old daughter, Annika.  Any funds remaining will be put into an educational fund to help Annika be able to pay for college in a short time.

Please join us in trying to make this transition the easiest possible for her husband and daughter.
