<div>For those who aren’t aware of Avery, a sweet sweet little one was in a tragic accident on Thursday Feb 26th 2026. Our dear Avery, mama and papa (melina &amp; nicholas), friends, a team of amazing doctors and nurses did absolutely everything they could to heal his body.

<div>On this evening, at bedtime , we had a beautiful ceremony singing for him and anointing him with rose water and wild honey. After that, the team of doctors and nurses at UC Davis Hospital removed all the machines and tubes so Melina (momma) could have him in skin to skin on her just like when he was born, and Sweet little Avery Li passed to the other side.

<div>Melina and Nicholas has been in full on Mamma &amp; Papa bear mode the whole time, loving him so fiercely through this. Now begins a whole other devastating phase of course. To bear the unbearable...

<div>Melina’s parents are flying in from Australia, arriving this morning to be with her and Nicholas.
