Stacy’s Journey

Stacy is a loving wife, mother to 3 and grandmother to 3 who is loved so dearly. She unexpectedly and rapidly became critically ill with streptococcus pneumonia. They had to heavily sedate her as well as intubate her. Due to her very weak immune system it fiercely attacked her body shutting down her organs. She is currently on dialysis for her kidneys. She lost blood flow to most of her body for some time. Unfortunately this resulted in the amputation of both of her legs below the knees. Her skin is being treated by specialists as she has severe burns all over. She will be hospitalized and in an ICU for months (no estimate was truly given) and then on to rehab. Through the emotional roller coaster her family is supporting her with love and encouragement, the family will also need support through this long road ahead for Stacy as well as them. Emotionally and financially this journey has been draining. They have all loved, supported and constantly been there for each other as well as their wife, mother and grandmother ❤️ Anything helps this family in their time of need as they adjust to their new normal for all, especially Stacy.
