Dan and Joe Rull Run Boston for Dodo

Donation protected

In November 2015, Joseph (Dodo) Nee was diagnosed with Stomach & Esophagus cancer. In the 11 months that followed, he fought very hard to beat his illness. Unfortunately he passed away on September 6th 2016. Dodo had a deep passion for helping others. He encompassed a unique quality to make everyone feel so special. Dodo was very involved in the community and giving back to the nonprofits as well as helping many others. Since his passing we decided we wanted to find a way to continue Dodo’s legacy and to carry on his dedication and commitment to a community he so loved. We decided the best way would be to setup The Joseph (Dodo) Nee Foundation a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization.

The mission of the Joseph (Dodo) Nee Foundation is to keep Dodo’s spirit alive by giving back to the community where he lived, worked and so loved to be a part of. Through the funds raised and donated by its generous supporters, the Joseph (Dodo) Nee foundation will continue to give back to the families and nonprofit organizations within the Greater Boston area.

A quote that sums up best how Dodo lived his life from Winston Churchill “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Please Note
This will allow Brian Nee to use this money for more great programs in the city.
