Garcia Family Harvey Relief Fund

My name is Hernan Garcia and Harvey was devastating for thousands, but it especially hit close to home when my aunts Martha Garcia (Martinez) and Maria Fernandez (Garcia) became victims. Both of their homes are in Canyon Gate in Katy which like many homes were not in a flood zone and they don’t have flood insurance. Flooding is so bad there they are still days or weeks away from the water receding out of their homes. The destruction in their homes is going to be HUGE with water sitting in there for weeks. Many of us were so blessed to be untouched personally. Thankfully, my dad and I are able to give them love and shelter in our homes. This goal won't even come close to what the two households will need to rebuild but it'll give them a head start on the long road ahead. Specifically, these funds will be used for water/mold remediation expenses as the home needs to be healthy before they can begin rebuilding. If you can help, no matter what amount, it'll be invaluable to them. I will be withdrawing these funds and splitting it even among them. Thank you!
