Who Else Wants to Help Those in Need?

Hello Again!!

     Many of you may remember a similar call for support in December 2010 to help me raise money so that I could join the Non-Profit organization, Partners for Rural Health in the Dominican Republic,  as a student on a trip to the DR to provide medical care to the children and families of poor rural villages.

      Thanks to the care and generosity of many of you, I was able afford the costs of the trip and be a part of an experience that  was life changing!! I have so much gratitude for you all!

     Since then I have graduated with my BSN and I am currently enrolled in a Master\'s program of Public Health; the decision to pursue this path for my graduate studies was heavily influenced by how the DR trip stirred my desire to focus my career towards helping  people and populations that  are under-served and in great need.

    Once again I am asking for your support!!

I am signed up to go back to the Dominican with the PRHDR as a volunteer/provider of care this July! Volunteers have to pay their own way and attempt to raise at least 300.00$ towards the cost of medications, supplies and resources needed for those who receive our care in the Dominican.

     With all of this considered, I am asking you all to help me raise a total of 2000.00$ so that I can afford to go and share my skills and service to those in need in the DR and so that direct donations can be made to the PRHDR towards the medicine and supplies so greatly needed there.

     June 1st is the first deadline to have my volunteer fees submitted (100.00$ off the cost if I make this date!!)....

Final deadline for fees and donations is July 1^st (no early bird discount with this date)!!

I appreciate your time and your support as do the thousands that are served twice a year in the Dominican Republic by the hard work and efforts of the PRHDR, students,  and volunteers!!! Please Donate!!
