Help Me Get a Psychiatric Service Dog
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Bella Sigman, I'm 19, and I'm fundraising for a psychiatric service dog. I've already been accepted by an organization called Doggie Do Good. I've been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Panic Disorder. The service dog would ease my anxieties and allow me to heal without the use of medication. My biggest struggle comes from my Social Anxiety Disorder, and it's extremely difficult to go out in public, especially alone. Last year, there was a shooting at my old high school, which is my brother's current high school. I find it hard to go to school as I deal with intrusive thoughts about the shooting. I'm studying art and baking in college, and having a service dog will allow me to continue my education by giving me independence and reassurance that I need. The dog would also help me become more assertive and find my voice in social situations. The puppy in the picture is a puppy named Sadie that I may be matched with. The initial deposit is $7,500. I hate asking for money, but I really appreciate any amount you can give. My family does not make enough money for us to cover this by ourselves. Thank you so much.
Edit: just wanted to clarify that the dog will be fully trained by Doggie Do Good and in 6 months-1 year I will receive the dog
