It is our time to give back!
We all know and love Michele and Mac; therefore, know that they would never ask for anything. Both of them have spent their entire lives giving back to the community and people in need. They have a heart of gold and are an inspiration to many.
Many of you know that Michele is battling with Lupus. Many people don't know what Lupus is.
"Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that is caused by autoimmunity. Patients with lupus have in their blood unusual antibodies that are targeted against their own body tissues. Lupus can cause disease of the skin, heart, lungs, kidneys, joints, and nervous system." (medicinenet.com)
Needless to say, she is in constant pain and even battling other health issues.
With chronic deseases like Lupus come many challenges in daily life, like not being able to go to work, not being able to do fun things with your children, or just standing in the kitchen preparing a meal for your family.
Recently, Michelle found out that she has thyroid cancer. Her cancer is very agressive. Her lupus makes this all even worse.
