<div>On Monday, <strong>Cliff and Kathy Davis had dropped their middle daughter, Rylie, off at college and were heading home</strong> - Kathy and the youngest Davis daughter, Skylar, were flying back to DFW from Lincoln, and Cliff was set to drive home in the family car. Little could they have imagined the events that would follow, as Rylie collapsed during a volleyball workout and ended up hospitalized. Cliff hadn't managed to leave town yet, having experienced car trouble, something that turned out to be a blessing, since he was able to stay with Rylie immediately. Once Kathy had gotten Skylar started at Burton on Tuesday, she immediately caught a flight back to Lincoln. Rylie remains hospitalized suffering from rhabdomyolysis, a severe condition that has required dialysis treatments. So far, Rylie's recovery has been very slow, though her vitals are showing signs of improvement. Cliff and Kathy are remaining in Lincoln for the time being as they wait for Rylie to recover enough to be brought home to Texas. As they wait, they covet and are grateful for the many prayers that have been offered on their behalf.
