Piper Rae Barnett

Piper was born on January 5,2015. She weighed 6 pound 1 oz and was 18 inches long. Shortly after birth Piper was taken to Shands with some Medical complications. Piper was born without a stermun, a large hole in her diaphragm, collapsed lung, hernia and a small hole in her heart. Due to these complications the doctors are trying to figure out what is the best way to help Piper. Surgery will be needed but doctors have not said when or what kind. It is possible that Piper could be at Shands for 6 months to a year. Barbara and Sean are staying at a hotel in Gainesville and are currently not working, any help possible would be appreciated for this sweet couple and their beautiful baby girl. Please pray for this family, that God helps them through this tough time as well as put his healing hands on their beautiful miracle.
