Moving On After the Fire

On Dec. 18, 2014, I had a house fire that burned a good portion of my home and killed my two dogs, Hank and Maguire. I have had a lot of medical bills amd  health issues this year, so  I am currently not working.  I did not have homeowners insurance at the time of the fire. All those years I paid my homeowners insurance without a claim, then I let it lapse. Disaster has struck on several levels in my life and I need your help to get back on my feet.    I have  rented a small furnished house while my home is being repaired.  All upholstered or fabric  items were either burned or damaged beyond repair.  Three very large dumpsters of my life have been removed from my home.  A fourth will be filled with the sheetrock that will be removed. The entire house is smoke and water damaged. In order to re-build I must have the house gutted down to the 2x4 framework.   Most of my possessions  I worked hard to acquire over many years are now gone. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I fight my way  to get back on my feet. Those of you who know me well, know I can be a force to be reckoned with - just like my grandmother. For a brief period I just wanted to crawl under a rock and not come out. I looked at the rock and it was too big. So my only other option is to move forward. With your help, I can rebuild my home.  I can't replace Hank and Maguire, but I can give a forever home to two new canine companions I have not met yet.
