Help support Paul and Mark

Donation protected
Our local here in CT recently lost two valued members, brothers, husbands and fathers earlier this year. Paul Simonelli and Mark Richardson lost thier lives way too soon but will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Please help support thier children  in their time of need as we are trying to raise monies to donate to help take care of thier children. As with any member of our International and Local union, these children need our support in this time of grief, because now, more than ever, we have to understand that these are our children too. Paul and Mark would have done the same for any one of us and our family.

Any donation is much appreciated.

There is a Memorial Golf Tournament held yearly to help  local brothers  families in need. This year it will be held on June 13, 2015 @ The University Club of CT, Windham, CT. All proceeds will be donated to help show support for Paul and Marks children. Please join us  or if you can't attend, make a donation.

I personally had the oppurtunity to work with both of these men for years. I can't say enough to their character and moral fabric.

Paul Simonelli was a 31 year tenured mechanic. He spent his entire career with Kone Elevator. Along the way he became well known for his flannel shirts and was considered one of the best in this business across the board by most of his peers. But what I will remember most about Paul is that even though he was the smartest guy in any given room, he never made you feel inferior and always was willing to help if you had a problem. He considered it part of his job and just a part of his day. Paul was also an avid golfer. It was a tradition among a group of our members to go to Myrtle Beach on a yearly golf outting.

Mark Richardson was a 14 year tenured mechanic. He spent his entire career at Otis Elevator. Mark was one of the first people I met when I transferred from Local 10. He was a genuine soul. Always one with a quick comeback, a funny one liner, and an infectious laugh. Mark loved to ride his Harley, but what he loved most was spending time with his son and vice versa. Mark was also right there to help a fellow brother in need at all times.

Both of these men, gone too soon....
But never will they be forgotten.

Again, please help us help their children in this time of morning.

Any donation is appreciated. Thank you..
