Help John Replace His Stolen Trumpet!

Donation protected
John is a professional musician whose sole income comes from playing trumpet at live performances. Late on April 5, 2013, his handcrafted Lawler trumpet was stolen from the locked trunk of his car in the driveway of his home.

John picked up the trumpet when he was twelve and has played ever since. After obtaining a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Masters degree in trumpet performance, John has worked full-time as a professional trumpet player.

John began losing his sight six years ago as a result of Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes. Since 2009, he has been completely blind.

Luckily, John, as a blind person, has a profession with which he can work to support himself and his family. Unluckily, the instrument with which he practices that profession has been stolen from him.

Unfortunately, neither John's homeowner's nor car insurance will cover this loss.

We are asking for donations to this fund to replace the Lawler trumpet that was stolen. No amount would be too small, and every single donation will be gratefully and humbly appreciated.

Please help us help John continue to make beautiful music, and to earn a living while doing so.

Thank you! ♥
