Hello Facebook friends, I hope you all are have a wonderful New Year! I just wanted to share what a great opportunity I have been given the chance to serve through my new school in Fort Myers, FL. I have had a stirring in my heart and feel like I am being called to serve in other parts of the world.
I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me, from February 28-March 7th God has offered me the chance to go to Haiti with a group from Thrive Community Church in Florida. This 8-day mission trip will be reaching out and helping Pastor Isaac, one of the local pastors in Haiti, with the needs of Haitian schools, orphanages, churches, and medical clinics in the Jeremie district.
God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world which I am incredibly excited about, and you will be able to share in this compassion and excitement in several ways if you so wish.
First, you can help pray for me and my fellow mission team members. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the villages of Jeremie ,Haiti. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time we need to raise $2,000 each to attend this trip; which is quite a challenge for a college student!
Another way that you can be involved is by helping provide any financial support that you are able. I hope you will prayerfully consider supporting me with a small donation. I will need to raise all my funds by Feb. 15th in order to pay for airline tickets and other items. I created this GoFundMe in hopes to make this process easier.
