Hello All,
The reason for this page is simple...... to help a brother out.
His name is Mitch Wilson and he is 31 years old. A little over 2 years ago he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor which was operated on virtually immediately and resected, since then Mitch has had an up and down couple of years dealing with this and all that goes with it, he had been going well and started to return to normal life for someone his age and returned to work when sadly in December 2017 a scan revealed that the cancer / tumor had returned....
This required more surgery and he is currently recovering from this now at present. After this recent surgery Mitch's medical team in Hobart have advised that the tumor will return and may or may not be operable.... Despite all the obvious risks Mitch has grabbed this by the balls and is currently enduring almost daily Radiation Treatment and Chemotherapy which will last for approx 2 months with little rest in that time.....he has been extremely positive, even when faced with things no one needs or wants to have to be told, at any stage of life.
Mitch has not worked since December when he had his second round of surgery and is receiving a small amount of insurance moneys to assist with the day to day costs of a mortgage, phone bills and general living expenses but unfortunately it leaves him not a lot to live off after these essentials are paid for and the cost of weekly medication is starting to eat into this also....
This page has been created to allow people who know Mitch and the wider community to contribute even the smallest amount to helping us install a heat pump into his house which currently has no solid form of heating, assisting with medical costs, relieving financial pressure at a time when he doesn't need any more to think about, and allowing him to have access to some funds to enjoy the things he loves in life when he feels upto it.
