In lieu of flowers, the Family respectfully requests donations to purchase books for the media center in Lenita's memory be made to Sealey Elementary School.

All donations made through this fundraiser will be sent to Sealey Elementary School for the replenishment of the books in the Media Center.

Mrs. Lenita J. Joe was a beloved educator for 45 years, 22 spent as a teacher and Library Media Specialist for Sealey Elementary in Tallahassee, Florida.

 While at Sealey, Mrs. Joe was one of the originators and hosts of KIDS Talk, a locally produced television show designed to foster and promote reading. The show aired for 10 years.

Mrs. Joe was married for 53 years to COL Ronald M. Joe, and she taught around the world in support of his 30 year military career.

This fund was created in memory of Mrs. Joe's love for teaching and books. Her family can think of no better way to remember her than to provide more resources for the students that she dearly loved!
