Dear friends and family,
First I want to thank you for taking your time to read and hopefully participate to help our friend and sister Mimi. If you did not know, Mimi was diagnosed with Breast Cancer five years ago and with Ovarian Cancer two years ago. For the last five years Mimi has fought her battle with Cancer quietly with the help of Almighty God. I have never heard Mimi complaining about her diagnosis or anything else related to her illness. She has trusted God and moved forward with faith and hope believing that everything will be fine. I believe because of her faith, God answered her prayers and she is now cancer free.
Unfortunately though, she has had to have the most difficult surgeries totaling 9 so far. Due to the multiple surgeries she had to have to rid her body of cancer and all the complications that come with the dreadful disease she has missed a lot of time from work. As a result of all the surgeries and therapy she needed, she owes a mountain in medical bills even with her having insurance.
Sadly, just two weeks ago she had to have another major surgery again and the doctors have said that there maybe more. Now, once again, she has had to go through the whole process of once more taking time off from her job so she can recuperate. She has to work on getting her strength, mobility, and health back while also dealing with the added stress of her gigantic medical bills. I can't imagine the pain and the stress that she is going through but she has remained strong and is slowly recuperating but it is a long road to total recovery.
Like I mentioned before, Mimi has dealt with her struggles quietly and you wouldn’t know it by looking at her because she doesn’t complain. Most of you know Mimi is self-sufficient, determined and independent so it took a lot of talking and convincing from me to be able to do this for her now. Mimi is always there for us and even others whether she knows them or not. I think it is now time for us, her friends and family to show her our love and let her know we got her back. I am asking you, to please help Mimi with any amount you can so we can help to ease her medical bill burdens so she can just concentrate of getting better.
