Jerry's Race to Recovery Fund

As many of you know, my brother -in-law, Jerry Martin had an accident on his motor cross bike August 30, 2015. He suffered an injury to his neck and spinal cord.  Initially, Jerry was unable to move his arms or legs and spent 15 days in ICU.  On September 15th, he was moved to a rehabilitation center.  Each day he has made a little more progress and most every day his spirits have been AMAZING! He has regained some movement in his arms and legs and the prognosis is good that he will have all function return.  It is just going to be a very long road to recovery.

Jerry had recently started a new job prior to the accident and does not have paid time off or short term disability. At this time he has no income coming in. The only income they have is from Tanya and as many of you know it is difficult these days to survive on just one income.  Especially as medical bills are piling up.  Jerry is expected to be discharged on November 11th and will continue therapy as an outpatient until he has full mobility and use of his body.
