Chance of a lifetime

My son Daniel has a rare metabolic disorder ( Tyrosinimea type 1 ) we always believed that Daniel would have a short life due to statistics associated with this disorder, however we have been able to manage his health quite well with medication and a special diet containing very low protein. His mother and myself have done as much as we can to make sure that Daniel has a full life. One of Daniel's favorite things to do is go to boat races. He is always tinkering around in the shop with anything he could find to make a boat out of. Daniel is very creative. A couple of weeks ago, Daniel's uncle Marcus gave all the kids an opportunity to learn about boat racing by taking them to hydroplane racing school. Yes they have that. Daniel and his sister Brianna bolth took the class and did great. The school had offered Daniel the use use of the school boat to actually race that weekend. And he did. Daniel drove in 2 races and did great. The following weekend was another race. We had met some great people during the first weekend and offerd to loan us a motor if we could find a boat. We found a loaner boat and Daniel got to race again. Daniel has the opportunity to race several more races this year. However he needs his own boat. I have found him a boat, motor and safety gear, but it is expensive. He wants to keep racing and I told him I would do what ever I could to make it happen. So here I am asking for assistants with this dream of his. Daniel's sister Brianna also shares the same passion for boat racing and wants to race as well. Brianna is 11 years old and has always said she wanted to be a race boat driver. I recently asked her why and she replied " I want to be a professional driver so I can raise money to help find a cure for my brother "
