On February 3, 2015, April Worner will have a second cerebral bypass surgery to re-route and increase blood flow to the left side of her brain. The surgery will take place at Stanford University in California, where the top experts and leading researcher in Moyamoya Disease practices.
April was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease in 2007 and had her first cerebral bypass surgery on October 10, 2007. Moyamoya is a narrowing of the internal carotid arteries at the base of the brain that can cause multiple strokes or hemorrhages.

April is a Fifth Grade Teacher and her husband Brandon is a Worship Leader. This fund will help April, Brandon and their 2-month old son Beckham with travel expenses to California, as well as medical bills.
