SHHHHH - It's a secret, so DON'T TELL JUSTIN!
I never do this, but here's the deal:
Justin is an awesome husband, father and friend and never ever does anything just for himself. We are moving to a new house in about a month, and it also happens to be his birthday in a week or so (April 2).
I would really like to surprise him with enough funds to buy a sit-down Speedy Ms Pac Man to put in the new house.
For those of you familiar with Justin, you know this is his FAVORITE game and he's been playing it since he was a kid - getting hours upon hours of enjoyment from making this crazy little yellow creature run around a board of dots. I know, I don't get it - but it's his favorite game and I would love to surprise him with something awesome for his birthday and our move.
When I ask what he wants for his birthday, Justin will mention some movies or Tshirts maybe - but mostly he doesn't want people to spend money on him, or us to spend more money on things we don't really need for the move. But he has gotten everything for me and for the kids that we want - so I would like to get him something really special.
I've researched and seen that we could get a great sit-down Cocktail Arcade game, including shipping it to the house for around $1500. This is definitely too much for me to spend on my own when we're saving for the move, but I thought if I could get his family and friends to each chip in a little bit, then we could all collectively get him this amazing gift - and each of you would know there's a little part of you in it. Plus if you come visit the house, you can play Ms Pac Man with us. :)
So, whaddayasay? Want to help me give Justin the most awesome Birthday surprise? If so, please donate today. I'd love to be able to tell him about it on his actual birthday (April 2), which I know is short notice - but that's unfortunately how great (or not) I am at planning things in advance.
