Justin Monk

Just a little over a year ago, Justin was diagnosed with a rare disease, Myasthenia Gravis (MG).  MG is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder.  In layman terms, it is weakness of the muscles.  Some of the symptoms are double vision, unable to chew or swallow difficulty walking, lifting arms, extreme fatigue and difficulty breathing.  Justin also had a massive tumor and when they removed the tuor last Jan, they had to take part of his lung so not his breathing took a major hit and he had to be incubated 47 days ago. The doctors informed Kelly that he will need to be moved to a long term acute care facility within a few days.  His recovery will be very long and most likely when he does come home will require in home care as well as breathing assistance.  Kelly has had to be by Justin side for the first 30 days as decision had to be made by her.  She was working two jobs while Justin was recovering with bouts of relapses.  For the last year with Kelly working two jobs, she has had to rely on family for emotional support for Nicolas (their son) and financial support to keep her house running.  I have had several people contact me as how we can help.  So I am starting this GoFundMe account for the Monk family.
