Justin McVey's Eagle Project

Hi, I'm Justin McVey and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 877 at St. Stephen’s Church in Bradshaw, Maryland. I am currently 16 years old and a Junior attending Eastern Technical High School. I have been in the scouting program since first grade as a tiger scout. I am on my last step to the completion of the Scouting program, and the highest rank, Eagle Scout.
For my project, I will be constructing 2 farm style dining tables for my local fire department, Kingsville Fire Department, along with purchasing 16 chairs to go around each table. I plan to embed the top of both tables with various patches and insignia from the fire department like patches or logos that they would put on the jackets they wear . At this point in time, the fire department is under a major renovation which will be completed within the next year. This is why it is important to raise the money as soon as possible so I can complete construction of the tables in time.
The funds needed will go directly to the materials needed to complete this project, and any extra money will be used to stock the fire department's kitchen with pots and pans, utensils, dishes, etc. I've grown up in the community around this fire department, and they have actually been to my house to help me so I would love to give back to them.
