On Tuesday, November 27th, 2018, Justin Bendo passed away at the age of 14 at McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario after a brave and valiant battle with Chronic Mucocutaneous Candidiasis Justin was born on September 17th, 2004
In and out of SickKids and McMaster for the majority of his life, his mom, Angela, spent the last seven weeks at McMaster by Justin's side, fighting alongside her cherished son.
Justin made an extraordinary impact on everyone who was lucky enough to have met him, a testament to his loving mom and family. A constant stream of visitors, including many of his present and former doctors, demonstrated the great and lasting impression he had on so many lives.
His short time here has enriched the lives of many people and his fighting spirit will never be forgotten. Angela and her family will need an outpouring of support in the days ahead -- both physically, emotionally and most definitely, financially.
On this "Giving Tuesday", please find it in your heart to help a very deserving mother give her beloved and cherished son a fitting tribute and memorial to his brave battle. No donation is too small. All funds will be given to the family to aid in final arrangements for Justin and we are hoping to reach our goal within five days.
