Justice for Brandy Myers

Hi, my name is Kristin Thelen, and I am raising money to fund a justice campaign for my sister, Brandy Myers, who was kidnapped and murdered in 1992.  Twenty-three years after her disappearance we learned that she was abducted by the Canal Killer, who lived 3 blocks away from our Phoenix apartment.  There is testimony from his ex-wife who described Brandy in detail and how he told her that he murdered and dismembered her, and threw her away in the trash. There is no physical evidence linking Bryan Patrick Miller to the crime, because her body went to the landfill and her disappearance was not linked to Miller for another 23 years.  As a result, the Prosecutor has declined to charge him with the murder of Brandy, who was only 13 years old. In April, Miller faces Capital Murder charges for two other young girls in the area.  Brandy's name should be on that list of victims. The cold case detective working on Brandy's case told me that the only way to get the Prosecutor, Bill Montgomery, to add my sister's name to the list of victims is to create public pressure through an awareness campaign. I have working for the past 2 years to create this pressure through media interviews, rallies, and social media.  I recently moved to TN with my family, and I need to get back to Arizona in April to do some important groundwork before the trial, and try to motivate the community. I have budgeted travel, food, and campaign supplies, and I need 2,000 dollars for 2 weeks of intensive ground work in Phoenix. If I could get just 200 people to give 10 dollars, I can easily meet my goal.  If you can't give, but still want to help, please write the Prosecutor and demand he add Brandy Myers to the list of charges against Miller.
