On Monday, Christmas Day, at approximately 11:29 pm, Hillary Hicks, 23 of Ontario, was driving her 2004 Honda CRV westbound on SR-60, west of Mission Blvd. For reasons still under investigation, an unidentified driver was driving a 2008 silver Toyota Sienna westbound on SR-60 and collided with the rear end of her Honda. The force of the collision caused her to lose control; her vehicle veered to the right and traveled off the right edge of the roadway where it overturned down the embankment and collided with a tree. Hillary was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the collision. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and transported her to Riverside Community Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The involved Toyota Sienna was located west of the collision scene and found to be abandoned. Press Release 

Hillary is a loving daughter, sister and mother, leaving behind a 4-year old son and 1-year old daughter; the money will be used for Hillary’s Memorial and Final Expenses. The remaining funds will be put into Trust Funds for her children for College or other interests that they may have.
