<div>We have started this GoFundMe to help support the family of Cyrus Carmack-Belton and preserve Cyrus's legacy as a young man by establishing a scholarship in his name supporting art/trade school for aspiring tattoo artists, fundraising programs to spread awareness on gun violence and racial profiling, and by helping to maintain his memorial site and bench.

<div>Cyrus Carmack-Belton was 14 years old, he was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the youngest son of Nicole Carmack-Belton and Troy Belton. He loved to smile, play video games, draw art for tattoos, and go on long walks.

<div>On Sunday, May 28th, Cyrus was shot and killed outside of a convenience store in Columbia, South Carolina. He was shot in the back after being racially profiled for shoplifting. His life was cut incredibly too short.
