Justice needs Sea Dog Training help

Donation protected
Update : Justice has completed his 3 weeks training and is needed to stay at the training camp for follow up at $20/day boarding rate. We are trying to raise the fund for the next month. Here is his video from his first meeting with his visitor (Stranger)

Update : Although Justice has been accepted in the program, we have to keep him in boarding as his trainer sadly got hit by covid. She will take him first week of June but we are hoping to continue raising funds for his boarding cost which is $600 a month

Thanks so much for always supporting us.

Justice is one of Save Some Souls' most misunderstood pups. He is extremely sweet and loyal with his fosters and adopters, but, due to his past abuse, he gets guarded with strangers and his fear makes him become reactive to them.

Justice was pulled from Harris County shelter in July 2021. Since then, Justice has been bounced around from foster home to foster home, adopter to adopter, everyone promising him forever but not following up on his training, and returning him as soon as he barked or lunged at their visitors. Each time Justice was uprooted, he became sadder, and his fear became double.

Lack of stability made him reactive.

When his last foster home did not work out this weekend, we reached out to the much coveted positive reinforcement board and train facility at Seadog Training.

Very fortunately, Justice was accepted into their program. It is an excellent opportunity for Justice to get the emotional help he needs, as well as the tools to overcome his anxiety and fear, so that he can live in our world without having to stress each time someone walks past him or approaches his humans.

Justice will be able to go to their boarding facility, and decompress for a few days before starting Sea Dog’s training program. Sea Dog’s training program for rescues cost $1400. It is a lot for one dog, but this dog has been nothing but loyal to his humans for the last two years, and has been craving nothing but love from them.

This is not a dog who is mean or aggressive. This is a dog who loves his humans, he bonds instantly whenever someone shows a little love, but, the fear and abuse of his past stops him from trusting strangers, thus making him reactive around them.

For 2 years, Save Some Souls has faced severe challenges, but have stayed committed to Justice because he truly is a wonderful loyal, loving pup. We do not know where he came from as a puppy, but he was so abused that he has scars behind his ears.

Despite the trauma he endured, every home he went to, he loved his humans with all his heart, but sadly none of them loved him back enough, and returned him within a month or two, thus breaking his heart over and over.

We’re hoping that with this fundraiser, we would be able to help Justice receive the help he needs, and finally find his true forever. We’re trying to raise the $1400 necessary to change his world. This is the only chance he has and we need your help.

They will hold his spot for this week. So please share with whoever you think can donate so we can cover this cost. Meantime he continues to stay in his boarding at Huffman and is safe.

Thank you so much for reading and caring.
