My name is Jo, and I am seeking justice after experiencing an unlawful intimate search. This experience, along with the legal battles that followed, has deeply impacted my mental health. Even when the process is exhausting, when the odds feel stacked against us,many refuse to let go because silence would mean allowing wrongdoing to go unchecked. It’s also about protecting others from the same harm, making sure history doesn’t repeat itself. It’s deeply personal, it’s a way to make sense of traumatic experiences and affirm that they deserve justice. We need to be heard.

And sometimes, just speaking the truth is a form of resistance. Even if it doesn’t lead to the outcome we hoped for, it refuses to let those who cause harm write the story. That takes incredible STRENGTH.

We should be celebrated for fighting NOT silenced - we do not heal by giving up we heal by exhausting every avenue possible. We need support, nourishment and momentum to keep going.
