Justice For Stephanie Mohr
Stephanie Mohr was the first female canine police officer in Virginia in 1995. She was a brand new officer. She was responding to a burglary and her dog took down the suspect with a bite to the calf. The dog did exactly what police procedures expected him to do. Five years later the suspect sued her for the dog bite that required ten stitches. She was ultimately convicted and sentenced to ten years in jail, leaving behind a 3 year old son. She was imprisoned for doing her job. She served eight years. Please give her a new start. She was just pardoned and now deserves to move on. She lost her career and eight years of being a mother.
