Sativa was a beautiful soul whose life was cut short far too soon. She was loving, vibrant, and full of light, and she touched the lives of so many who knew her.

<div>4/11/2026 — A few weeks ago, our lawyer advised us to wait until the second day of trial before making any travel arrangements, which unfortunately makes the trip even more expensive. <span>He explained there’s a high likelihood of a continuance, especially given how Taylor is handling things. </span>

<div><span> At this point, we know we haven’t raised enough to send our whole family. We’re now hoping to raise enough to send our mom, so at least one of us can be there. </span>

<div><span>The funds would help cover her flight, hotel, food, and transportation to and from the courthouse. She will also be missing three weeks of work, so we’re hoping to raise enough to help offset the income she’ll be losing. </span>

<div>The trial has been continued until May 18th and will conclude May 22nd. This means my mother &amp; aunt now need to fly home and back to Mexico in 2 weeks. This will cost approximately $4,000
