Rosaura Barbosa was murdered by her exboyfriend on May 6, 2018. In her honor, her family and friends have started the process of becoming a nonpro-fit organization in her honor. In hopes of reaching the community members who are suffering from the effects of domestic violence. Justice for Rosaura has submitted the fees and paperwork to the state of Arizona. Once that is approved the next step is to submit the fees and paperwork to the irs to officially become a government recognized tax exempt organization.
Once the organization has all legal rights to be recognized as its owned entity, the members and volunteers will be trained in behavioral health certifications and will go into high crime communities in the Tucson area. Our goal is to reach youngsters and teach them better coping skills other than violence. We also plan on doing home services, such as support rehabilitation. Which is working with families in their homes and in the community and teaching them life skills. Once we are fully established in Tucson we plan on having an office in California and Florida. Your donation will go to the fees required for filing with the IRS and training for the volunteers in our organization.
Update 4/13/19 Justice for Rosaura inc has now filed with the IRS for non-profit status. All donations made from now on will go to helping our community and building our organization. Thank you all for traveling on this journey. With your help we will make this world a better place, one person at a time.
We are now an official IRS recognized non-profit organization. Any money raised will go to helping victims of violence and also to train our volunteers.
