Justice for LUDWIG

On August 10, 2021, Ludwig, a Dogo Argentino dog was shot to death by a neighbor, who also happens to be the husband of the Mayor of Wayne, IL.

After more than a month, on September 15, 2021, the Kane County State’s Attorney made a ruling that no charges would be filed at this time, which was an outrage to thousands of people who not only live in Wayne, but many surrounding communities as well. The precedent that this ruling sets for all dog-owning and dog-loving people is terrifying and just plain unacceptable.

The dog’s owner, Joe Petit is not only heart-broken for the loss of his dear pet, but he has also spent a great deal of money on Justice for Ludwig signs and hopes now to hire an attorney to keep fighting until justice is actually done for, Ludwig.
