Kobe Heisler, age 21, beloved son, brother and friend, will forever be remembered as a kind and beautiful sweetheart. Kobe was a fantastic helper, an amazing cook and a devoted gardener. He was a big fan of sea shanty songs! He also had the superpower of being on the autism spectrum.
Kobe was unjustly and unnecessarily killed by Brooklyn Center police in Minnesota, USA on Sat. Aug. 31st, 2019.
As you can imagine, the shock and pain of this tragedy is horrible for the family-- Amity (mama), Jason (papa), Laura, John, (step parents) Susie and Erv, Muriel and Jan (grandparents) his sister, cousins, and many others. The entire community is reeling.
We know that folks want to support them with funeral costs (including travel expenses for family) and legal costs.
Obviously there is nothing that can ever replace Kobe. And no true justice seems to be possible in this system.
Still, we must stand up to this corruption and fight for justice! For Kobe. And all the others too. Thank you for any support you can give!
Memorial events are on Sept. 7 and 8.
