<div>It was a sunny August day in 2020 when I received that dreaded call no parent ever wants to get. My daughter Kendra, who had her own vibrant spirit and an unwavering determination for life, had been brutally murdered. The pain of losing her is something my heart still struggles to fathom. But the shock deepened into outrage when we learned about the suspect's release due to insufficient evidence by Codington County police—a devastating blow that made us realize how much more there was at stake than just our grief.

<div>Kendra, who lived with severe disabilities, deserved so much better from those sworn to protect her rights and safety. We are a close-knit family struggling financially; we simply can't afford the hefty costs of obtaining court transcripts or paying for legal representation—a critical need as we seek justice for Kendra. It feels like an insurmountable mountain when you have no one by your side, but we won’t give up.

<div>This is where YOU come in. Your support isn’t just financial; it's a lifeline to hope and justice for someone who can't fight for herself anymore. Each donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal of $50,000—money that will cover the costs of legal aid and investigative work, ensuring Kendra gets her day in court.

<div>"Justice is about paying respect to those no longer here," I often tell my grieving family. And this fight isn't just for Kendra; it’s a battle cry against injustice on behalf of all who face such heartbreak without proper support or closure. We are calling upon you, our community and beyond, to stand with us in demanding justice for Kendra.

</div>

<div>Let's break down these barriers together: help us raise funds that will fuel the fight for truth; assist us in securing the legal expertise needed to bring her killer to justice—to give them what they took from us so cruelly. Every dollar counts and brings us closer to ensuring no one else suffers as we have, under similar circumstances.

</div>

<div>We believe that when people come together with compassion and solidarity, miracles can happen! This is our chance to turn Kendra’s tragic story into a tale of triumph over injustice—a testament not just to her life but also to the power of community support in times of need.

<div>Thank you for considering supporting this cause and being part of something bigger than ourselves. Together, we are their voice; together, justice can prevail. ✊
