Our son, Josh, was a force of nature. He had an inviting smile, gave long, warm hugs and held a deep love for those close to him. He approached all aspects of his life with an intense ferocity that could not be denied.
Starting at an early age, he had a tendency to take the road less traveled, and he confronted a number of challenges on his life’s journey. Along the way, he was fortunate to encounter some genuinely selfless people who worked diligently to help him face those challenges.
The team in the BISD AIMS program were invaluable in helping Josh. From Tarver, to LBMS, to BHS, their patience, persistence, and willingness to do whatever was needed truly made a positive difference in his life. Our family has always been grateful for their efforts, and we want to show our appreciation through this campaign.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Josh’s life and recognize these special people, we are donating the funds raised through this campaign to the BISD special education department to use as they see fit. Thank you in advance for your generous thoughts, prayers, and donations.
