On August 19, 2025, our lives were changed forever when our brother, Jonathan, was murdered. There are no words that can convey the pain, the anger, the loss. But now we are bonding together to help our niece, Abigale, and nephew, Garrett, who lost their father at ages 18 and 20 respectively. We don’t have much information at this time about the details surrounding Jonathan’s death, but we do know that it was executed and planned out by his wife with the intention of leaving assets to others. We are working with a legal team to ensure that his children receive what he would have intended. Civil or criminal, we will not stop until the people who worked together to take our brother away are punished. We are starting a GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs, legal fees, and living expenses for our niece and nephew. We appreciate any amount you can give as this will be a long term, legal and grieving process. Garrett and Abby must now face a world without their Daddy and figure out a way to cope with such a violent, malicious and senseless act. Jonathan was a veteran of the US Army. He served 6 years and worked as a mechanic on helicopters. When he discharged, he got his A&P to become a certified aviation mechanic and begun working for Gulfstream. He was a proud, loving father, brother, son, nephew & friend. He had a larger than life personality with a booming, goofy laugh. He was a lover of animals, UGA football, good BBQ, fishing and just in general having a good time. He will be so very missed. He was the middle of his five siblings. His sisters, Amy & Morgan, brothers, Bryant & Logan, and stepfather, Keith, have organized this fundraiser. The funds will go into an account managed by Amy & Bryant that will then be distributed for funeral expenses, legal fees and Garrett & Abby's living expenses. Thank you all for your help!
