Justice for Benton

On May 30th, 2020 our beloved was taken away from us tragically in a vicious murder. We are hoping that our family, friends, and community can help us provide a reward that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in murdering Benton Rico.  Benton spent the night enjoying dinner with 5 others at Atzimba's in Clarksdale, MS then drove to take one of them home. After drop off of 1 person, the remaining four drove through the junction of Whitting road and highway 316 where they encountered a white/silver colored sedan car. The car sped up behind them and delivered the fatal shot that killed our loved one between 11 pm-12 am. Our hearts are forever broken and there are so many unanswered questions. We are asking that anyone who is able, help support us by offering a reward. Our family needs this case solved. Anyone with information, please contact the Quitman County Sheriff's Office.
