Justice and Soul Volunteer

I am here to raise money to help fund my volunteer mission in Cambodia.

For the month of December I will be working and teaching at the Kate Korpi Cosmetology school and Salon in Phnom Phen, Cambodia. I will be working with Justice and Soul, an amazing organization created to help the young men and women who have been sold in to sex trafficking in the country. Through rehabilitation and education in the trade of hair styling, these students get the opportunity to build a new life that belongs to them alone. The school in Phnom Phen is completely fundraiser and volunteer based which means everyone working there is giving their time freely, using their skills to help others. 

I have been in the industry for 5 years and in that time have had amazing opportunities to make beautiful differences in lives of my amazing clients. My favorite part of this job is participating in positive change for the people in my chair, helping them feel good so they can do good. When I learned about this organization and its mission, it naturally made sense that this would be the next great thing I could do with my skill. 

I applied and was accepted into the position and will be spending the month of Decmeber in Cambodia at the school. I am doing this completely of my own desire and am more than happy to fund myself thru this experience. However, any money raised will go directly to my flights, accomodation and time spent volunteering, any extra will be donated directly to the school.
