The Peanut Butter Nomads are raising money through our new foundation, OnlyABuckâ„¢. The idea is that for only $1, you can help. For our first project, your donation will help send a child to school for a year in the remote villages of Nepal!
After reviewing our website\'s traffic numbers, we realized that if everyone who reads the blog pitches in just $1, we will have enough funds to make our first order for school supplies, uniforms, and to pay for tuition (where necessary) for each student. The goal is to help 30 students, with costs averaging $140 each per year, so our goal is $4,200! Nepal Volunteers Council near Kathmandu, where we\'ve volunteered and serve as the newest board members, will then distribute to those children who have applied for financial assistance. With this money, we hope to decrease the large stack of applications for aid and give eager children a chance to learn.

Notebooks $.25/ each (18 small notebooks needed per student, per year.) -- $4.50/ year
Pencils $.15/ each (5 pencils needed per student, per year.) -- $.75/ year
School Uniforms $56/ each (including shirt, pants, shoes, socks, & bag) -- $56/ year
School Fees $13-$67/ each (The primary students\' fees are lower than the high school students. Fees depend on the school.) -- $13-$67/ year
***92% of funds collected will be given to students in need who have filled out applications for scholarships. (Paypal charges 3% and GoFundMe charges 5% fees for this service.)We\'d like to give scholarships to the students of the following schools:
