WHAT'S HAPPENING?
On July 14th, 2017 my mother , Denise Bjorklund, passed away unexpectedly from organ failure caused by an infection. Losing my mother has been the hardest thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life. My mother was unemployed, had no money/assets, and was in process of going on disability. She lived with me and I took care of her, both financially, and I acted as my mother's personal care provider, employed through the state of Washington.
In the wake of her passing I took a week off for grievance, only to return to work to find out that my employer lost a contract to a customer that made up almost 60% of our business, and massive layoffs are on the horizon. So not only did I lose the income I made being my mother's care giver, I now will most likely lose my day job as well.
On top of all this, I've had my own personal unexpected expenses. I had a gallstone attack which ended up being an unexpected $800 trip to the hospital and I now have gallbladder removal surgery that I need to have done as well. And just recently ( July 29th), I had another trip to the ER , adding to my medical debts.
WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?
Of all the things going on right now the last thing I want to worry about is finances. But the combination of all these unexpected events have created a financial situation that threatens my home. I can either just sell my house and move in with family, or do what I can to save my house with this campaign.
This house is more than just an asset to me. This is house is my home, its my first home. The house I got with my mom so I could take care of her. The house I spent 7 months with my dad remodeling. And I don't want to lose it.
So I'm reaching out for help. Please help me save my home.
